Tommy went to the
WTC in a bus with Sergeant Rosenfeld and other Court Officers.
He was an Army
Medic, a Volunteer Firefighter and had a lot of experience with heavy rescue.
When they arrived at #5 WTC Tommy went to help the injured escape. He had
carried out and saved the lives of many people that day. There were still more
to be saved, however, and he gave his life in a brave effort to try to rescue
them. Even though he was warned to get out of the building, Tommy stayed to save
those who couldn't make it out by themselves.
He is survived by
his wife, his parents and 3 brothers and sisters. Tommy's brother just became a
NYC Firefighter and his family is very proud of him.
