Ground Zero, September 2007

Ground Zero is located across the street from the Tribute Visitors Center. Next to the Tribute Center is the 10/10 Firehouse and memorial for the 343 NYC Firefighters and special firefighters including retired and volunteer firefighters lost on 911. (see this memorial on following page)

Inside the Tribute Center you will find items recovered from the tragedy which are very powerful reminders. The most powerful reminders, however, still remain those lost to us forever. (Not included on this web site are the thousands of photos given to the center by the family members of all those lost We have not included them here because we fell everyone needs to go to the Tribute Center for themselves to experience this in order to mourn, honor and respect those lost.)

This is a beam of steel with bolts recovered from the World Trade Center site after the tragedy.

Two hand held guns fused together from the high tremendous high heat during the fires that burned for months at the World Trade Center.

FDNY Jacket of Firefighter Jonathan Ielpi, of Squad 288, Brooklyn, NY and Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department in his home town, Great Neck, NY

Please come visit and support the Tribute World Trade Center 911 Visitors Center located at Ground Zero next to 10/10 Firehouse. Tours are given by volunteers many of whom are family members, and/or experienced the tragedy first hand and can explain what happened that day and afterwards.
